Very nice focus and clarity. I love the color as well. I have not decided if I like the star or not. I think I do cause that makes it a bit more than "just another eye shot". It makes it unique. The lighting is ok, I am curious to see what this would have looked like with full lighting and no shadow. Good luck in the challenge.

This is definately a sad looking hand. however, I supose that's the point. I like the concept very much. I think that the exposure is good, and the angle and framing/cropping are good too. I like how the hand is not directly in the center of the photo. Great shot. Good luck in the challenge.

I like it. I especially like how the hair doesn't blend into the background all the way, you have made it so that you can tell the difference between the hair and the background, which I'm sure is a difficult task with a shot like this. Would make a great black and white portrait too. good luck in the challenge.

Two by Four, Eight Feet Long

Lighting looks a bit harsh on the feet. I like the angle on the feet. focus seems good to me, and I like how the feet are all 'posed' the same. I tried cropping this right above the green blanket, and I liked the result. kind of a panorama style shot looked good with the line up of feet. I like how the border matches the colors in the shot. Excelent shot. Great use of exaggerated lighting/shadows. I think that the lighting on the fingers of the left hand (our left) is just a small bit too bright, however, lighting on the rest of the photo is great. Focus and clarity are wonderful. Definately an emotive piece. Angle and framig/cropping really help the mood here. Good luck in the challenge.

I really like the soft focus on this. I think it creates a mood. The angle and framing/cropping are nice, and I think that the lighting is very good as well. I wish that somehow it were possible to get the bottom half blackened out as well. Although I'm not totally sure about that. With the brown area, it gives it quite a bit of depth, and if it were blackened, that depth might not be there, so I'd have to see it to compare. Otherwise, a very nice shot. I think this would be a bit better had the entire background been the dark cloth being held by the left arm. I think that the closet doors do nothing for this shot. The bright light from the left also is a bit too bright in my opinion. It almost washes out the decoration (painting?) on the nipple. The curvature against the black cloth is good, I like that, and the angle and framing/cropping is also good. Good luck in the challenge.

Interesting. I'm not quite sure what it is, but it looks untouched by man. Uless it's from a nuclear power plant run off, and then I'd have to wonder, but looks good to me.
