The Playful Catby magnetic9999Comment: Very cool Mag, nice how the hair flows onto her back and the line continues around her bum. Seems like the glasses have kind of like the same profile. Great toning. Space above works.
I am allergic to cats, but for this one I'll gladly take some anti-allergy pills. :)

Footbridge at Deception Fallsby stesmoComment: That's a powerful leading line trough this photo. I like it how it seems to cut the scene in half, the stream beneath it, the forest behind it. The color of it fits the image and the way the lines of the bridge itself work is cool.
Motion of the water adds dynamics. Good job. |

Golden Gate Bridge by byetkoComment: This photograph definitely tells the story about San Francisco. The famous bridge and the mist. The view of the bridge covered in mist with the upper parts of the towers sticking out is unforgettable.
Good composition, detail, depth and toning. |

Castle ruin deurneby Frank DoorhofComment: When photographing old subjects like this one, try to avoid including modern stuff like cars and such. Sometimes you have to wait a long time, been there done that. Some people walking on the path would be ok though. |

Crossing the wavesby johnmkComment: Nice dramatic lighting, good freezing of the waves. The road to IJburg, the killing of Durgerdam's view on the Zuiderzee. :( |

New and old Carlton Bridgeby kblmComment: Detail is ruined by a much too low jpeg quality. This one is 40 out of 150kb, there is a lot of room for better compression (less of it!). It would look less soft, edges sharper and render more detail. |

Bridge at duskby marinajoeComment: Excellent lighting and nice composition, but it looks extremely soft and lacks detail. This is most certainly caused by using a too low jpeg quality. The max filesize is 150kb, this one is 40! There is plenty of room to save at a higher quality, it will give much more detail, better edge sharpness and will get rid of the soft look.
It could look great. |

Infinite Supportby mbardeenComment: Excellent composition and capture of the ligh/shadows. I guess there is only a short time that this situation exists.
It is like looking into a mirror against a mirror, a seemingly never ending repetition fading into the distance. Nice how the sun gives colors to the stones. Too bad that there is a fence and barb wire there. :( |
