Quiet Pond in Infraredby hyperfocalComment: I need to figure this infrared with digital business out. I just love the rendition of all the colours in infrared B&W. This scene also looks great, except for the lower foreground. The reflection in the water is silky smooth. It's like a moonlit winterscape.

Stillnessby BudComment: Interesting composition, but the colors lack strength and contrast. The horizon looks a bit tilted to the left, once you notice it it becomes distractive.

The Geysirby terjeComment: Great toning and contrast mood for this subject. Because of that it could be a 'geysir' , or just as well a heavy object falling into the water, a deptcharge exploding or a meteor hitting the surface of a planet.
Good effect. |

Limeburners Lagoon, Australiaby AnjellaComment: Interesting contrast, especially in the sky.
I like it how the foreground shoreline leads to the cloud formations and that it has some bird at the end. Would work better in a larger size like 800 to 1024 wide I think. The light on the sand is also interesting with that small stripe of gold. The ripples in the water add some interest there. Good composition. |

Lazy Sunday Afternoon by cheekymunkyComment: Wonderful, reversed warming graduated ND filter? Doesn't matter how, it works. Very warm and romantic mood on what probably was a cold day. :)

face the musicby shutterflyComment: The light is a bit cool, creates a very harsh effect on the hair. Another whitebalance (warmer), color filter in front of the light source and/or a diffisuer in front of the light might work better.
Good concept, like the composition and how the light falls with the face in the deep shadow. |

Round Upby debitiptonComment: Nice action shot, I like all the motion. The diagonal panning motion of the ground gives speed to the image and the blur of all the hands, legs and tails gives action. Good crop, some space for them to move in. Photos like this are so much better than frozen stills.
