Chillin . . . 1981by glad2badadComment: Oh man, it was so cool. I remember the day (must have been 6 or 7) when the first guy at school got a walkman for christmass. We all wanted one.
Now with an itsy bitsy tiny mp3 player, able to hold 50+ 90 minute casettes and able to find your fav song within 10 seconds.... In 20 years we connect a wire to an unused part of our brain and upload the whole world database. :) |

The Storm is Overby babylonComment: Cool b&w, great background with those white and grey shades on the mountain and in the sky. Good that the blond one is standing in front, it stands out well and manages to draw the eye to the underside of the photo. If it were as dark as the other two the eye would wander off to the background (less impact). 8 |

Swedish Meatingby palmeroComment: What do they call them, kottbular? Taste good.
Nice composition and light (altough I'd try to fill the shadows with a reflector). The meatballs are a bit out of context. On a plate or in a pan they'd be more naturally presented. |

Country Dance Hallby sherpetComment: The sky looks a bit strange and pixelated. Overal the image is oversharpened (halos around edges) but strangely soft in the details. Composition is okish. |

Roosterby rayg544Comment: Funny, when you pronounce rooster in dutch and take the literal translation you get 'roester', not a real word but it indicates 'roestig' and that translates back to English as 'oxidated' and that's what this rooster is. :) |

Long Forgottenby M.O.C.Comment: At first thought you think: "The barb wire lines screw this up." But at second thought it gives a feeling of "nobody enters here", enhancing the empty house. Unfortunate that the sky is a bit blah, it could have given this more impact. |

Cold Day in a Southern Pastureby esdarbyComment: Cool wide perspective, but the elements in the photograph are a bit distant. A strong close element in the front would benefit the scene here. |

Twilightby JesuispeureComment: Would be better with a warmer whitebalance. When you cannot correct whitebalance, try the color balance sliders of your program. Attempt to replace the blue. Another option is a whitepoint curves sample on the brightes blue/magenta section. |
