I thought of it more in terms of bringing an old fresco to life, but I guess your interpretation would work too :)

I like the camaraderie and the genuine smiles of these boys contrasting with their ridiculous uniforms (sorry, I am not American-born! :)). I understand that you went for a retro look, but i personally think it is too yellow, better to tone it down.

thank you! and strobe, meaning strobe light? i actually didn't used available light.


Oh! I thought it was a strobe's reflection in the poster, but I see now that it was apparently the ceiling fluorescent light fixture. Very good results for such a horrible light! :) ...But you did use at least a camera flash, didn't you? Otherwise where the catchlights in kitty's eyes are from? :)
