Very moving. |
My guess it is a face behind a foggy glass... Great work, all these blurry yellow photos! |

Or rather half old TV and half HDTV :)...
I thought of it more in terms of bringing an old fresco to life, but I guess your interpretation would work too :)

For one thing the graininess makes this more intimate, naughtier. Her expression is intelligent, self-possessed, not quite disdainful but at the very least ironic. In other words, not the pornographic expression you see on the ribbon winning models. |
Oh yes, Fritzi stroke me as a very intelligent, lovely girl. Here are a couple of my other shots of her

The Four.jpgby KronusComment: I like the camaraderie and the genuine smiles of these boys contrasting with their ridiculous uniforms (sorry, I am not American-born! :)). I understand that you went for a retro look, but i personally think it is too yellow, better to tone it down.

poke.by ShannonLeeComment: Originally posted by ShannonLee: Originally posted by LevT: poor kitty... his (her?) resigned look is priceless. The whole series is great! nice of the vet to give you carte blanche to shoot in there, with strobe and all. |
thank you! and strobe, meaning strobe light? i actually didn't used available light. |
Oh! I thought it was a strobe's reflection in the poster, but I see now that it was apparently the ceiling fluorescent light fixture. Very good results for such a horrible light! :) ...But you did use at least a camera flash, didn't you? Otherwise where the catchlights in kitty's eyes are from? :)
