She Models in Parisby Rainbow-Coloured-SoulComment: glamorous shot! Love the curves of the bottle - very sexy, and the shallow dpth of field. But I am not sure about the crop - I wish Paris was a bit more recognizable, maybe at least the lamp post not so obscured.... |

God's Messengerby pawdrixComment: a metaphor for the new man in Washington? :)
Great shot, but Paul's comments elevated it on a whole new level for me (and HCB's shot, too, for that matter :)) |

Ballet dreams by BudyaComment: great idea and flawless execution, with great attention to all details including making the wonderful highlight on the nail with a flashlight (made me wonder where the nail shadow was :)). Congrats on the 1st place, Anna, well deserved! |

Waiting for the Time of Grace . .by JedusiComment: I think I agree with Ecce, I'd also prefer the image "in full force" and perhaps the poem semi-transparent on the right (right-indented) as an "afterthought". Strong image, and a beautiful poem.
By the way, even though I know it is a medical necessity, I find it very symbolic that many old people wear dark glasses, as they want to guard their inner world from the outside world which is zooming by way too fast ... |
