Jumperby raishComment: You probably don't want to hear this, but I like this outtake much better than your entry.
Danged if you do, danged if you don't sometimes - eh? ;^) |

Fly Byby jessebradleyComment: Smooth. That's the first impression I get. You've stopped the motion just fine. This image feels kind of documentary. Like it belongs in a book or website with a description of the plane underneath. Not a bad thing overall, just not a 'wow - this is exciting' reaction to this image. Sorry. JMO of course. ;^) Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

glideby robaComment: Wonderful bird. You've stopped the motion just fine. The image overall feels quite flat like you need some additional contrast. The subject is also on the soft side, a little sharpening would probably really make this eagle stand out. Good luck in the challenge. |

Are You Ready For Some Football?by brimacComment: It's ok. My first impression. Sorry. The image is technically fine overall, but nothing giving that 'wow' impression. Know what I mean? Not that you have much control over the background in this scenario, but I think for this image to really work the player should be a little more isolate. JMO of course. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Kestrelby agwrightComment: Wow! That's sharp! Great detail in the face, eyes, and beak. Would like to see it a bit brighter...feels a tad underexposed. But that's my only real complaint. Nice job and good luck in the challenge. |

Salute to the Rising Sunby swallaceComment: Clever title to a well shot image. Several duck/water shots in here. You've captured this one with some nice lighting, no motion blur, and the image is well focused. Job well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Gull In Flightby FromacComment: Well composed with the bird flying into the frame. Good detail on the bird as it's well focused and not blurred at all. I think the only thing that's going to hurt you is the chosen subject...there are a lot of seagull shots. Not saying that's right or wrong...just making an observation. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

A Flight In The Woodsby toddgrayComment: Pretty bird...nice panning shot. Only bummer is that the bird isn't really in focus as you have some blur on the bird. So close! Panning shots are difficult to achieve without blurring the subject. I do like the rich color in the background. It really helps make the white bird stand out. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
