laying geeseby saintaugustComment: Kinda fun. I like the black background...not like you could change it or anything. ;^) |

Embarazadaby rblantonComment: Very nice composition. I like the way you used the space available - good DOF, and nice detail of the magnolia bud. |

Lemonade Vendorby phinbobComment: It's a cool shot. I wish however, that the hand was in focus also. You had a pretty high shutter speed (1/1250) but the aperture was a bit shallow perhaps? Nice choice on the desat... |

Under Bridgeby stormyComment: Very nice use of repeating patterns. If this spot is local to you it would be fun to see what impact lighting has here at different times of the day (dusk, dawn, etc...). |

On the Prowlby toddheadComment: If this isn't a ribbon winner I'll be disappointed. Very well done (tastefully I might add). Her face grabs your attention...with the DOF as it is you want to wander, then you are pulled back. Only negative is the pupil of her eye seems unusually large and dark - like a reflection was cloned out...a soft catchlight would be good. |

Radial & Spiralby riotComment: Amazing beauty! Wonderful capture, and even better use of post-processing technique. This should do well for you as a print. Good luck. |

M&M's spill it overby lcfourstarComment: This is a fun image! It's making me hungry for candy. ;^) What are you using for a light source? It's just a bit harsh. Getting pretty defined reflections on the candy. Tried using some sort of diffuser? I keep a pad of large white paper (the kind you can put on an easel for mtg's, etc...) available. Tape it, or hold it in position to filter the lighting some. Don't laugh - it's cheaper than buying all the pro stuff. ;^) |

Immense Reflectionsby SDWComment: Interesting...a bit busy perhaps (not your fault - just a lot to look at). The water arch's look like steel rods or something - that's cool.
What does it look like from the other end, facing the direction you were shooting from? Do they light this up at night? What's it look like facing up from the sidewalk?
A fun place to visit with a camera for sure. Nice capture. |
