Deep Blueby RentrenzComment: Don't know what it is, but it's very interesting to look at! The color tone is wonderful. Not sure about the focus on this. The back right area is sharply focused but the immediate foreground and middleground seem soft and blurry. If this was focused all the way thru or at least the key front areas, it would be near the top when this challenge is over. As is, it should do alright - just missing that fine attention to detail. Good luck in the challenge. |

"A hive of colours"by ThaiComment: You didn't go out a buy a new set of pencils just for this challenge - did you? ;^) Just pulling your leg, been there, done that myself. This is a good choice of subject for the challenge. A bit static and maybe a little short on the "wow" factor - but it should do "ok". I think an even tighter framing with 8 full ends showing might have had more impact. Anyway, good luck in the challenge. |

Jungle Patternsby timfythetooComment: May not be "close enough" for some, but I think it's a wonderful image. Great detail and focus here. Colors are really jumping out! You'll have to frame this one when it's all over. ;^) Good luck in the challenge. |

Coloursby Rino63Comment: Hmmmm. Going to have two camps on this one. Those that like the finger there and those that don't. Personally, I think it's distracting. A paper cone could have done the job if it had to be lifted? Just a thought. CD's always produce some cool lighting effects. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Keep your coolby lentilComment: Hey. This is fun. ;^) Guessing it's a hand-held fan? I like the way the background texture kind of matches the wood grain. The lighting has created a shading effect that also works well. Diagonal lines are always good. :D Not too crazy about the distracting frame. Good luck in the challenge. |

Green Texturesby idnicComment: This is fun. Clever idea. The green "dots" on the lizard dominate over the "hair" of the (cactus?). Good use of diagonal lines for added impact. |

Natures Hidden Beautyby rayg544Comment: Awww, man - you pulled the stem out! ;^) Actually makes a nice macro shot. The lines kind of radiate back out at you, like one of those optical illusions. Did you experiment with some color hues on this? Blue might have been cool. Anyway - hope this does well for you. Good luck. |

Inside a rainbowby pacpintoComment: I'm just going to have to do one of these someday. Everytime I see this I think "that's cool". Nice and colorful - clean, sharp...should do well. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
