Cartsby MadMan2kComment: I like the focal range of this image. Nice pattern with the carts and use of leading lines.
As for someone grabbing me and taking me into their office??? Not happening, unless he was 6'5" and 300lbs - then he'd still have to catch me! ;^)
Good luck on your next outing. He-he. |

Antigua2by GBrummettComment: What a very cool, interesting place! I'll bet there's a few more shots from this location lurking in your PC somewhere. ;^)
Going with B/W works very well here. Nice job on capturing the grit and texture that's evident. For B/W you have a good tonal range covering both ends of the spectrum. One thing that looks a little unusual is the leaves on the plant by the left door...they appear dark.
Great capture overall! Smile and keep having fun! |

Coulrophobia- Fear of clowns. by BrennanOBComment: OK - This guy scares me too! ;^) Self-portrait? He-he. Anyway, nice lighting and composition with this. I like the way you've come tight in on the face (losing the chin and hair) to emphasize the nose and eyes. Good luck in the challenge. |

woods, moss, fernsby pwm6Comment: I enjoy these woodland shots. This one is very well composed and fun to look at. One thing...those are birch trees, correct (if not - nevermind. )? I'm thinking if you tone down the blue channel a little the trees would whiten up some. Just a thought.
Smile and keep having fun! ;^) |

Upper Fallsby alfrescoComment: I think you should have moved left about 3 or 4 feet to get that snowy hump out of the foreground and picked up more of the gap at the top of the falls.
Just kidding! Unless you're a penquin...don't think I would've ventured much closer to the water myself. ;^)
This is a nice shot - good catch on the water flow. Amazing, even at 1/8 shutter speed there is still quite a bit of action showing.
Very beautiful location. Overall, nice job! |

Oh yeah - nice photo too. Nice use of DOF and ROT in your composition. Lighting is right on as is the focal point. |
