pointedby ralphComment: Colorful group of pins... Well composed and nice lighting. Might not be abstract enough, but good luck in the challenge. ;^) 6 |

sea shells by the sea shoreby EmyloyComment: Nice texture and DOF. It is recognizable (your title didn't help any). ;^) Wonder how the composition would have looked had this not been centered and straight up & down? Maybe angle and moving away (laid down a little)? 6 from me. Good luck in the challenge. |

Shyby wavelengthComment: Not bad for just "messing around". ;^) Congrats on a decent finish. |

Candidby youngnovaComment: Hey, this is a nice composition. The subject is well placed, very nice leading lines with the railing, and great color/contrast with the lighting.
Sounds like you had a good time. BTW, what camera was that again? ;^)
Smile and keep having fun! |

At Lastby ClubJuggleComment: In a way I hope I'm not the first to point this out, but just in case... ;^) The hands of the couple are not the focal point - the pastor/minister in the background is. Kind of a bummer because this had potential with the composition; position of camera to include all three people is great, odd number (3 people) is good, the couples hands are positioned near a ROT point. Best of luck in the challenge. |

Taking Timeby fencekickerComment: Well, it's different. Wish the hand was in focus instead of the clock - or maybe both with more DOF would be best yet. Lighting could be stronger (yet diffused), and a polarizer would reduce some glare on the clock face glass. Compositionally, it's too tight. Need a little breathing room for the subject. I like how you used a black background. Good luck in the challenge. |

Stop !by MambeComment: Something seems off in the color balance. Maybe too warm? Almost has a sepia tone to it but I'm not sure you intended that. The background is distracting over the shoulder. White, black, or light blue instead might have worked better. With some different positioning that background could have been eliminated almost entirely. It's a unique approach to the challenge, just not quite right technically. Good luck in the challenge. |
