I like the contrasty feel to the image...should have scored higher IMO.

While the lighting is interesting, more balance lighting between the two peppers would probably be better. A trip to the store on the day of the shoot, and careful produce selection would help.

Nice image in the form of a high key look, very stockish. Simple, white background, highly saturated colors, sharp and well focused. All said, I'm not getting the oxymoron connection. The are hot (spicy) chili peppers. Is it supposed to be like Hot/Chilly? Sorry, not trying to be a pain in the neck, just wondering...guess I better check out that oxymoron url link. :D

Anyway, good luck in the challenge.

to much light reflecting on them which is causing the heavy shadows below, like the wrinkled efect on the green chilli, good luck

I think i dark background might have worked better on this... but i still like it and the idea.

To much light in the red pepper takes out the contrasty color.

The lighting is a bit harsh for me. Good use of the oxymoron.

I think the lighting is too harsh.

Hmmm ... not sure a homonym works here. Chilis aren't chilly!
