What a view! There is a lot to look at here and keep the viewer interested. The shutter speed used stops the action quite well. Just a smidgen of blur, probably from releasing the shutter? Overall, well done. Should be a top contender for this challenge. Congrats in advance!

Absolutely stunning shot! Congrats on a great image no matter how it scores in this challenge. My guess is it should rise to the top quite easily.

You've brought it all together on this. Well composed, exposure right on (water reflections are tough to deal with sometimes), sharp crisp focus, and just the right shutter speed to get the faintest hint of motion.

This almost looks surreal. I think it's because the sky/clouds aren't in focus (you must have used a shallower aperture, say F11 or so?). Not that that is a bad thing as it allows the stem and flower bud pop out a little more. Should be ok for meeting the Zen group for this. ;^) Good luck.

Ahhh...aren't we clever? ;^) Actually, it's a pretty cool shot and should work ok for this challenge. Title does a nice job of putting it together. Some will probably say "don't like the edge of the plate", etc...I think the plate edge helps give this image context. Best of luck to you.

This is quiet, simple, and fairly serene. Sounds Zenish I guess. ;^) My question is - what is that thing next to the pen? Probably could have gotten by without it. JMO of course. Good luck.

I bet if the pepple was off-centered in this image you would score .3 to .5 higher. Personally, I like shallow DOF shots and this one is good for the challenge. Good luck.

Neat idea, however I think you're going to get hammered a bit for a few things. 1) It's a flower. 2) It's a flower with water beads on it. 3) The color isn't saturated enough. 4) It's a bit noisy.
