Didn't you find it amusing that there is an exciting play at the plate going on and fellow teammate #22 doesn't appear to have any interest in what happens? ;^) Good job of capturing the timing of the slide correctly. How deep were you on aperture? I wonder if there was enough distance between the play and the stands to have blurred them out some with a shallower choice?

How'd this look in B/W? Personally I think the green foliage may be distracting. JMO of course. Might get hit by a few on the centered composition also. Good luck. Hope it does well for you.

City Bustle

This shot reminds me of a billboard type ad, or something you might see on the side of a bus or at the bus stop. ;^) Like the cool blue tone. The only problem I see with this image is the "Bustle" isn't bustling too much - need more people! Good luck in the challenge.

Under 6 Soccer Action

The kids at that age are so much fun to watch! ;^) One of the hardest things I've found in trying to get decent shots of the kids playing soccer is eliminating the distracting backgrounds (cars, parking lots, fences, etc...). Not really much of an issue with your image. Just making an observation. Smile and keep having fun! ;^)

Trampoline? Wonderful clouds in the background for this. Not sure if it's my monitor here at work or not, but it looks a little flat, like you could use a small boost of contrast. As for the subject, I think this would have scored higher if he wasn't looking at the camera and had an expression more of fun than concentration. Anyway...good luck in the challenge.
