Caught Mid-Yawnby LoreneComment: Cute picture. Kind of just "ok" for the 'Stopped Motion' theme IMO. It looks like the paws are in sharper focus than the eyes and mouth area. Good idea to rotate this - the angle works quite well. Good luck in the challenge. |

Ice Diveby pacpintoComment: This is too funny. I just finished commenting on a similar shot just before this one. My 'random order' doesn't seem random enough...or there's just a lot of water splash shots? ;^)
This is unique and should do well. The underside bubbles are really sharp and well focused. That area of the image almost looks like mercury. Not sure about the ice. In comparison to the rest of the image that hunk of ice is kind of soft and dull. Nothing personal. Should do fairly well with this. Good luck. |

splash!by I Enjoy HamComment: Hey, now here's a different take on a fairly common subject (water splashes). It's kind of neat how you have a smooth water trail behind the quarter, and the sideways "splash" is very cool. Good job and good luck in the challenge. |

The Bowlby cadbikeComment: The head and shoulders are stopped well. Some motion blur evident in the feet and hands. I like the way you've composed this and the shadows add an interesting dimension. Good luck. |

Play stoped in motionby facesastheycomeComment: Cute kid. ;^) I think many voters are probably looking for a more challenging subject for the 'Stopped Motion' theme. JMO of course. Best of luck in the challenge. |

Wellingtonby MatthewComment: This gives good reason for desiring a fisheye lens. I've thought about shots like this but haven't had the tools.
I love the blue color tone in this shot and the star effect on the lights. Well done! |

Encompassedby MatthewComment: This has a surreal feel to it. Certainly fun to look at - helps that the technicals are in place (focus, exposure, etc..). Good eye to see this and capture it well. |

Prissy Darlingby elsapoComment: Gorgeous cat, and I love the way you've captured the eyes. The entire image is tastefully done a little bit soft, which works wonderfully for this "portrait" image. |

Crossing Shibuya Intersectionby copykatComment: Clever idea. Little too blurry in the final output however. Even the people in the background show some blur. Camera being handheld, yes? Also, this is underexposed a little, or at least it appears to be (could be this work monitor). ;^) Good luck. |
