day5by PuckzzzComment: Nice use of a mundane subject that you are fortunate to view every day. :P
I do like the diagonals formed by the top of the silos. Not sure how much this would have impacted the final composition, but the bands in the lower right are distracting a little...bringing my eye to that corner.
The halos that you mention add to the image in this scenario IMO by keeping the silos from merging into the sky too much. Gives a nice separation.
In admiring the tones of this photo I noticed the range includes the bright lower left. That would get lost if you cropped to exclude the bands I mentioned, so nevermind that comment. :)
Anyway...nicely done! |

Day 05 - Coachby WalesPComment: Nice detail and lighting. Something about it makes me uncomfortable looking at it. I think it's the square crop and that her face is so close to the left edge. I want to trim this to a traditional portrait aspect by severly cropping in from the right and a little off the top.
Just my first reaction, and obviously JMO. :) |

B&W Day 3by emily212Comment: Took me a minute to figure it out, even after reading your comment that it's a mask. :P
This is a unique subject and has potential IMO for various approaches. In this photo I like the flow of diagonals and (whether intentional or not) the curved twist at the bottom. Minor nitpik is the floor/wall seam in the upper-left. A minor tweak in contrast and curves could make this jump out a little more.
Overall, a fun image to look at. :) |

Day 5- Garden Work!by JLCComment: Good eye to see this. It's an interesting photo overall. Could use some PP work IMO. Seems dark and somewhat flat (curves/histogram adjustment and boost contrast).
Smile and keep having fun! :) |

Within These Wallsby MAKComment: Beautiful Church! Very nice lighting. Your tripod wasn't quite level...slopes to the right. Good luck in the challenge. |

solitudeby arsenalComment: Interesting, but looks a bit too unrealistic for my taste as a "photograph". Cool effect on the face. Not getting the connection to the cow piece on the right. |

First Strikeby shamerComment: Interesting, but looks a bit too unrealistic for my taste as a "photograph". I imagine this would do well as a poster however. Nice work on the graphics end of this. |
