Follow up: Yep, my work monitor is lousy. The contrast looks fine on my home monitor. :D

Yum! :) Nice idea. The blue/purple shadow & tints (color balance adjustment needed) is drawing attention away from the primary subject. JMO of course. Good luck.

Great use of shallow DOF, and the slight slope/diagonal adds some energy. Very nice!

Nice use of natural light and spot exposure. I like this effect (used it on one of my earlier B/W 30-day photos) and mucked around with it the other day some as well. Definitely a technique to keep in the back pocket. Glad you pulled it out here...very nice.

Almost looks like an IR shot. Taken with a very WA lens?

It is an interesting (and sad) photo to see the scar left behind by closed industry. BTW - How DO those top level windows get broken anyway? Target practice? :)

Interesting lines, and I'm seeing some blocks of dark tone in the background (my work monitor isn't the best). I kind of feel like I want something to be a little sharper...it's a very soft image, but in some places that's effective. Perhaps this is one of those times? :)

Follow-up: Yep, the work monitor is lousy. The blacks look fine here now. :D

I'm at a loss as for what to say. It's "ok" as an image. Seems a bit static and documentary. Now I feel somewhat like Simon on American Idol. :P
