sunnydewby k_stottComment: You made a good choice in angling the flower petals across the image diagonally. How's this look when you take a peek at the histogram? Seems a tad underexposed and flat. Those water droplets should be jumping out for attention with some sparkle. They may be too far away for proper impact as only the very center of the image is in focus. All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

Juicy and Tartby siyuegegeComment: Could be sharper and the lighting toned down a bit. Does look like a decent snack however. :-) |

Sunny Dayby jrmyrnsmComment: Nice positioning of the subject in the comp. May have wanted to pick a different time of day to take this as the lighting is quite direct and harsh. Good detail and focus. Good luck in the challenge. |

Vainby marvinComment: Curious. Hard to tell what it is...very abstract. I like the blue background as it works quite well with the gold colored subject. |

Evening Reflectionsby scruffComment: This is clever/creative and I like it overall. Personally, I'd have cropped some off the left to lose the wood frame and nail. Lighting is a tad hot on the very back edge of the "flower" thingee and in the resulting reflection on the glass. A well conceived idea. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Standing Aloneby LMA128Comment: I get the idea of where you wanted to go with this; negative space, bokeh background, isolated subject. It's nearly there. A little more space between the bottom of the flower and the bg bokeh would help some, and the flower would have had more impact if not in a state of decline. All JMO. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

Tranquilityby apashackComment: Lovely still life. Lighting may be a tad hot in a couple of spots, but nothing extremely over the top. Biggest thing holding this back I think will be the color tone; it seems more gold/orange than yellow. JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |
