Yeah, I butchered that sky. :-( In a hurry and up too late. :-} |

Camera Battery Died :-\by glad2badadComment: Originally posted by tnun: why is this kid trying to take a picture of a marshmallow on a dead rosebush in a cemetery? riddles for our times. |
LOL Not a marshmallow. He's holding a P&S camera (it's silver). Now, the joke could be on me as you may be tossing some fun sarcasm out there. ??? |

Tribute to ursula Image_ID1040987by DCrest01Comment: A slightly different approach than what Ursula took with the lighting, contrast, and button placement (how hard was it to find those hearts?!). Yours has a more high-key feel to it, where Ursula's had stronger contrasts, especially in the paper top left area. Lost a little bit of focus on the farthest heart, and some blue cyans creeping in near the paper folds. Great attempt though. A fun one to emulate. Good luck! |

Lucie's Blueberriesby LydiaComment: It's close. Big difference for me is the lighting and contrast. This seems a little flat and the berries washed out. Additionally, the lighting in yours is from the left where Lucie's was more direct overhead and slight right. It's a good attempt, don't get me wrong. Just not quite the same impact. |

Seasideby willemComment: Interesting. This could almost be a Deep DOF outtake. :-) Nice use of foreground emphasis. |
