circa 1583by Dr.ConfuserComment: This is an interesting composition. I like the placement of the statue in the frame. Not quite getting the connection to the challenge; is it the statue that is out of place next to this historical building? On the technical side, the image would improve at least 1 to 2 points in scoring if it was better focused (it's blurry). All JMO of course. :) Good luck in the challenge. |

Shur-ly you're Joking?by liltritterComment: This is a bit too contrived (setup) IMO and the number of "props" is excessive. You're also way too neat (look at those bundled cords!). :) Good luck. |

Urgent Phone Call From The Pastby h2Comment: Wonderful idea. Execution comes up a tad short IMO. As long as you're setting this up why not find a location without the bare trees behind you? Looks like you have a nice sky to work with - maximize the impact of that. The flash is a little harsh and too evident with the well light dirt and the glare on the front of the car and shoes. All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Back To The Futureby marboComment: This is a very nice fit for the challenge. The "castle" certainly seems misplaced. As for the photo, it's fine overall. It's an accurate capture of the scene in a documentary sort of way. Artistically it doesn't do very much IMO. Considering the challenge is using advanced editing rules you may have tried burning in the background and sides some, then dodge the castle a little to make the castle jump out more. Just a thought. Good luck in the challenge. |

Unfair Advantageby glodaComment: He-he. This is clever. :) I wonder where he gets his ammunition? Very well done, both in context for the challenge, and photographically. Good luck in the challenge. |

Now and Thenby kashiComment: I take it something here is old and something is new? Can't really tell. Seems a bit "documentary" to me and not very exciting to look at. Nothing personal, just my observation. Good luck in the challenge. |

where do I plug the USB in?by sigrun_thComment: I think this is a great idea and you did a nice job with the photo. The problem is going to be the flash drive. Many aren't going to recognize it or see it for what it represents IMO. It's a very small part of the composition. Good luck in the challenge. |
