A DARK PAST by eliteComment: This is a wonderful portrait, but it seems to be way more about the person (primary focus the eye) that it has to do with "hair". JMO of course. :) Good luck in the challenge. |

Optionsby manishComment: I love the composition, but don't like the washed out look of this (haze). Perhaps a better time of day (early/late) or use of some filters to bring this to life. Great potential... Good luck. |

Montopoliby Rocco61Comment: Seems more like a cityscape than a landscape? It's certainly an interesting place with all of the doorways and windows. On the technical side I think the composition would be better served without the small piece of sky visible at the top. The image seems a little blurred and/or in need of some sharpening (very evident looking at the flowers in the window and the potted plant). A little more contrast and color saturation would also give this image a boost. All JMO of course. :) Good luck. |

Mountainousby junior_zComment: Wow, talk about repeating patterns! :) At first glance I was thinking you did some cloning to enhance the pattern, but I'm thinking it's for real after a closer look. Nice eye to see this. The stark contrast and use of B/W was a good choice. Good luck in the challenge. |

Up the winding pathby TlemetryComment: Something about winding roads...I really like this. Nice job of using leading lines to tell a story and engage the viewer. Hopefully you're not taking too many hits from those who may feel this isn't a "pretty landscape". Good luck. |

To Ngawi.by PatmaniaComment: This is a cool looking road and location. Well seen! Funny how the asphalt gives the viewer an impression of a grainy image, even though it isn't. You've composed this well overall. The B/W tonal range seems just a tad short of hitting both ends (true white/true black) - but it could be this lousy work monitor. :) BTW, you know that it's ok to clone out sensor dust?
Good luck in the challenge. |

And they call this PROGRESS!by jerseyjimComment: Well, what else is there to look at at this location?
Looks like you picked the best time of day to get this shot. The color tones of the sunrise/sunset work well with the silhouette of the roller coaster. |
