This is clever/creative and I like it overall. Personally, I'd have cropped some off the left to lose the wood frame and nail. Lighting is a tad hot on the very back edge of the "flower" thingee and in the resulting reflection on the glass. A well conceived idea. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

I get the idea of where you wanted to go with this; negative space, bokeh background, isolated subject. It's nearly there. A little more space between the bottom of the flower and the bg bokeh would help some, and the flower would have had more impact if not in a state of decline. All JMO. :-) Good luck in the challenge.

Lovely still life. Lighting may be a tad hot in a couple of spots, but nothing extremely over the top. Biggest thing holding this back I think will be the color tone; it seems more gold/orange than yellow. JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge.

Yep, it's yellow. :-) Ummm...what else. Let's see. The lighting is a little harsh - indirect (or bounced light) may have softened it a bit. The composition is quite static with the centered subject. Attention to detail (the lint specks on the dark background jump out immediately) is helpful as well in improving scores. All JMO of course. :-) Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Cool subject. I wish the whole thing was in focus, especially the head. A polarizer could have helped minimize the light reflections and add more punch to the color.

This is an interesting looking place. Hard decision on where to crop or frame this shot I'd imagine. I think I'd have taken just a bit more off the left to lose that partial window. In any case, good luck to you in the challenge.

Well, this is interesting. I like the nest. I'm not getting the different egg pieces however, especially the dirt? The white (cloth?) in the lower left is a distraction. All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge.

An interesting geometric, pattern kind of shot. The honey color is too orange I think and you're probably getting dinged on it some with scoring. Good luck.

It's "ok". The subject may be a bit bland. Nothing personal, just an observation. It's hard to crop a shot like this without seeing the perspective distortions (curved lines). Good luck in the challenge.

Adorable shot. Hate to say it, but is that yellow or orange? Regardless of color, the photo is a keeper. For this challenge??? Not sure. Good luck!
