Dirty Entranceby spencerwoodComment: I keep tilting my head to see this straight. :) I take it the framing is the small area of wood top right and right? |

I have, everybody has, they love it.by SureShotsComment: Everybody has what? Not getting it, sorry. As for the photo it's certainly framed correctly. The subject(s) in the background are interesting in that I wonder what they're up to. |

Take Flightby CutterComment: Cool freeze action shot. Not sure that it's really framed as suggested in the challenge description, but it's an interesting study in motion. |

One old barn to another...by cislanderComment: Looks like a fun place to just look around, and a fine location for some interesting isolated shots probably. This photo is technically fine, and meets the challenge. I do find my eyes wondering looking for a place to settle in...there's so much to look at, yet no firm subject to hold my attention. JMO of course. Good luck. |

triangle of flamesby dulfingurlComment: This is a fun choice for framing. You did a good job of controlling the light of the fire. I wonder if heat shimmer is why the framing logs look a bit blurred? |

View Across the Waterby ErikVComment: It's hard to find good items to use for framing. That's what made this challenge so challenging IMO. Yes, the trees do frame the city in the background, but they don't really add anything to the impact of the photo. If they had leaves, maybe...as is, not really. Not trying to be overly critical, just leaving some thoughts on first impressions. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Tree-framed Roadby Hendry JacobyComment: This works ok. The image is a little on the small side and you lose impact when compared to others in the challenge. Did you look at this in B&W? I think it would make a stronger presentation. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

Pectol's Pyramid, Capitol Reef National Parkby NaldComment: Very nice scene and a nice variation on framing from what I've seen thus far. May have pushed the saturation a little too much as I find the blue/cyans a bit heavy. Adjust the saturation down on those colors and see how it looks. Exposure for this scene is challenging with the extreme highlights. Couple of areas are totally blown out (lost detail). All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |
