Dazed and Confusedby njsabsComment: Nice control of lighting on this and I like the soft fade. It's a nice nude if you're into that I suppose. The expression feels a bit forced, and doesn't feel like that natural of a fit for the title. |

Black Dog by charliebakerComment: I like this scene. It has a hurry-up, let's get out of this weather feel to it. The background fog and water motion blur are very nice. The dog has an issue or two...one could be seen as negative or positive, depending...that's having him/her looking out of the frame. Adds tension, like what's out there that's grabbing the dog's attention? On the potential negative side it (the dogs gaze) directs the view immediately out of the frame, rather than across. Also seeing some sharpening artifacts, particularly the back leg and far right side area.
All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

Down by the seaside 1975by John WhiteComment: Bonus kudos for creativity! :-) I like it. This has a nice balance to it with the soft muted colors in the sand and background, yet the rock stack has a good pop in contrast with the lighting to set it off. Well done! |

Over the hills where the spirits fly-Misty Mountain Hopby jdannelsComment: THIS is what I wanted to do, but our mountain weather forecast wasn't cooperating. :/ So...I'm jealous, but not holding it against you. :-) One of my top picks for the challenge. The diagonals, and the lower right piece really make this work. Well composed and nicely captured! Good luck. |

The Ocean (Houses of the Holy-Track 8)by SouthCoastOr3gonComment: Lovely image. This is one of those scenarios where the use of multiple images (new editing ruleset) would be advantageous. Looks like there's some movement in the upper clouds from a long exposure. A faster shutter speed capture for the upper sky, combined with the lower motion blur, would be interesting to see. Just a thought. |

Feather in the Wind (from All My Love)by MaryOComment: Very nice abstract piece of work. The colors are complementary and vivid. Could be a tad more careful on cleanup (some sensor dust spots that distract). Overall, nicely done! |
