Sunflower Days by luvmyaussieComment: Ok. Slap a mat and frame around it, and you're good to go! Superbly rendered still life here. Well done. |

California Dreamin' by ShutterHackComment: Les ( AperturePriority) - This should complete your PB list with a clean sweep of this location. :-) Good luck. One of my top picks in this challenge with this wonderful capture.
Hmmm...wait a minute, this could be Jimmy ( SJCarter) also. Then neither one. :-/ Well, WHOEVER took this photo, you did a very nice job with it. :-) |

Blue Blinkies or Connect the Dotsby MelonMusketeerComment: "You can actually see the individual flashes if you shake your head rapidly while looking at the strobe from a distance."
Somebody has WAY too much time on their hands. :-)
This is a pretty wild photo! |

PaintShop Pro levels exampleby Yo_SpiffComment: Big difference! I feel so at home seeing this levels view (PSP X2). :) I usually deselect 'Preview' (it loads faster and you still get the preview in this dialog), and then I can maximize the window (levels dialog) to see it better yet.
Don't know why I felt compelled to mention this? Oh well...not going to delete it now. :-) |

"High in the sunlit silence..."by Bear_MusicComment: Wonderfully composed and processed. I love the positioning of the jet and it's contrails coming into the frame. The black silhouette is perfect for this.
Honestly, the 'Silence' connection on this for me was there, but thin...I've never been on a jet that was quiet. Maybe an air glider? :-)
As for the 'Photographers Comments'...thanks for sharing. It is a beautifully written tribute to your father.

Land, Sky and Waterby mexicoComment: Popping in once a year now are ya? :-)
Nice shot. I really enjoyed the soft pastel blues in this. Had it picked as a one of my Top 3 (gave it a 9).
Good to see you back in the challenges. Take care. |

There I Stood...by PBJComment: Nice job on noise reduction with the sky and clouds. The tree is WAY oversharpened. I do like the use of negative space. |

Snake in the Bushby BAMartinComment: That is such a cool shot! Hard to tell which way it's wrapped by the POV. :-)
Reminds me of a canoeing trip as a young adult...I was in the front and my friend in the back steered us into the outside current around a corner. In the bushes overhanging the water I'm trying to protect my face and duck under this stuff. At one point I look up and nearly in my face is a big ole cottonmouth!!! I smack the branch with my paddle, the snake lands on the bow point in front of me and falls off. Damn thing nearly landed in my lap!!! Still to this day I can't figure out how we didn't capsize. :-D |

Little Splashby cginoComment: Wonderful timing on catching that 'Little Splash' (perfect title BTW).
The splash looks like fireworks! The broody sky adds some drama and a nice frame for the little guy. :-) |
