A Twister Dogby crikComment: Nice use of negative space. Glad you said in the title what this is as it helped to speed up the recognition. This is a fun (and presuming natural) black and white image. Actually, now that I've looked at it a second time while commenting I'm kinding of liking it a whole lot more than the first time. Substantial bump up in score. Good luck! |

Twisted familyby keyzComment: Rubber bands? This photo is growing on me a little seeing it on the second look while commenting. I like the texture and that you've kept the arrangement of items strategically placed, but not strictly uniform. Only nit from me is I wish the 3 bands in front (starting with red/white and going left) were all crisply focused, then let the back ones fade out. Lighting on the top could be just a tad strong. Good luck in the challenge. Small bump in score after second look. |

Do Not Litterby HeiSchComment: Overall, I like the concept with the white "litter" and the red straw. I take it the red straw is your primary 'Twisted' or curved line? One minor nitpik is the straw is a strong leading line that takes the viewer nearly out of the frame instead of into it. |

on the curvesby guitarmaniacComment: An interesting approach... Feeling some friction and slight repulsion to having a bug in my serving dish. :-) Actually, I'm half serious on that point. I like your choice of 'curves'. A bit noisy in the shadows. |

Spiralby SammyMComment: I've looked, and looked...I WANT to like this as it's unique and I like that you found something different. The shadow is fun although I wonder if there wasn't more here with a little tighter presentation of the 'spiral' and it's shadow. |

Curlicuesby Jaded_HousewifeComment: Very cliche-ish (sp?), and very sharp. Should find this one near the top when all is said and done. Good luck! |

Twisted again and again....by JEFFJSBComment: I like how you've paired the "barbs" and their placement in the comp is good. Good separation of subject from background. Overall this photo is coming off very flat and the grey/grey is, well, very grey! :-| All JMO of course. Good luck. |

Bike lights!by acg83Comment: If the whole comp could have looked like the top and middle-back areas this would really jump out for me. I'm not really liking the large areas of blurred light. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

Dappledby UrfaKComment: Wow. I'm glad I'm coming back around for a second look while commenting. I think I scored this too low the first time around (5). Lovely circles of light and the detail in the vine is great. The one and only thing keeping this from reaching the very top of the scoring scale is the POV you took that included the larger piece of vine/wood on the left. Maybe you couldn't have moved (I hate when someone tells me I should have moved. He-he) - but I sure as heck would have tried to find a view that isolated what you have in the center. Anyway...nice eye to see this. Good luck in the challenge - I hope the score bump helps. |

A Twist on Pastaby jomernerComment: Clear, clever, and ready for the stock portfolio. Giving this a nudge on this second pass thru. Good luck! |
