Purpose : to show a lot of different twist in different color (maybe as a reflection of humanity)
Lighting : sb600 with tracing paper to soften the light 20cm in the upper left corner.
PP : curves for contrast and burning the background white sheet, crop, resize & border

Rubber bands? This photo is growing on me a little seeing it on the second look while commenting. I like the texture and that you've kept the arrangement of items strategically placed, but not strictly uniform. Only nit from me is I wish the 3 bands in front (starting with red/white and going left) were all crisply focused, then let the back ones fade out. Lighting on the top could be just a tad strong. Good luck in the challenge. Small bump in score after second look.

*not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*

Took me a moment realize these were rubber bands. I thought they were some sort of foam at first. Very nice colors and clarity. The background is a nice crisp white and the black border is great too. not sure about the white inner border but that's my only nitpick.
