Hmmm. I'm surprised at the finish - sub 6? Well, it's still my fav portrait and that's after getting thru them all. :-)

Wow! That really does look like a miniature scale scene now. If I hadn't seen the original you posted I could've been easily fooled into thinking this was some elaborate model.

Thanks for sharing that!

It's a nice photo. Seems heavily processed (the extreme vignette), and without "hope" in the title the connection to the challenge would be a little thin.

This is nearly perfect (don't like theme being repeated in title - this photo would have stood up fine without it). Great setting, the silhouette is right on the mark, and the tall grass is a bonus. Well done! 9

With the portrait orientation of this image the only part of this I saw was the robin and the wood - no title (too far down). My first thought was "hopes of spring", because when we see robins, spring is near!

Honestly, I was a tad disappointed to see that you felt the need to include "hope" in the title once I scrolled down...that's what the challenge theme is. The photo told a good story without feeding the challenge theme to the voters via the title.

Back to the photo...the colors are strong, details in the bird are "ok", the wood stump is a little hot (slightly overexposed). Perhaps slightly over sharpened. Compositionally you could lose a little off the bottom of this and give the robin more impact.

All of the above is JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. 5

Amazing how long it takes...this image IMO is symbolic of "hope". The building cranes give a strong sense of something rising. Unique, and well seen, take on this challenge.

Wonderful use of natural light. I like that this photo can stand on it's own in this challenge based on the challenge theme. You really didn't need to repeat the word "hope" in the title... 9

Photo is ok in a documentary type way, but is VERY title dependent.

This could have been beautiful...with a tripod. Love the color, don't like the extreme blurriness.
