Thar she blows (again, and again, and again!). My goodness we've seen a lot of this place recently. Although I have to say this is now my favorite of this location thus far. Catching the helicopter at just the right moment, AND having great detail in the lava plume (or whatever it's called), is very nice. Good luck in the challenge.

Considering the time of year (bare branches) this came out pretty nice. I like the complementary color tones (cool blues and warm reds). If it wasn't for that tree in the upper-left I could probably go higher than a 6 on this. Nonetheless, good luck in the challenge.

Birds and Bridges

Water level is up, eh? I like the reflections of the bridge at this location. The way the seagulls form a loose overhead arch is what makes this photo work and adds interest to what would be an otherwise mundane sky. Good timing to catch the train coming over the bridge. :-) Good luck in the challenge.
