The keeping your camera out of the shot part is probably costing you on this one. Nice idea. Funny title. :)

Has potential - seems a bit drab although you appear to have a wonderful skyscape to work with here. Would love to see a light (note the word "light") use of HDR or Tonemapping on this.

Nice reflection. Could use a little "pop" in color and drop the highlights a tad (basic S curve might do it). Fun photo, the turtle appears to be a young one.
