I like this. I like the composition, I like the B&W treatment, etc... The one thing, honestly, that eludes me is the connection to the challenge theme. At first I thought it was another 'light leak' type hook, but the title doesn't fit with that. Is the title a clue as to the 'Leaks' connection?

Yep, yep. Good catch! If I had any nits with this I think I'd have cropped a little from the left to eliminate the bare branches. Also, some fringing in the tree tops could have been adjusted. Overall, a nice capture. Good luck.

As for Lydia's comment - not posed at all. We were really playing a game of cards and the camera was nearby. Just grabbed a few shots here and there. Honest! :-D

The processing - hadn't planned on going there at all, but I was appalled at the nails on the hands of my son! Had to "dirty" up the photo to hide them. :-P Needless to say we had a conversation about hygiene shortly after.

How did the shadow get so blue? Did you push the blue saturation levels to enhance the water and the shadow was a side effect? Other than that, I like the composition and subject matter.
