I find the thumbnail of this image to be quite interesting. It's so abstract at that size and really made wonder when I first saw it. When viewed up close the shadows lose their elusiveness / abstract addition to the photo. While not dismissing the image on a grand scale, I still find it "ok" in full view - just not an "ah-ha!" moment.

A nice take on the challenge in a environmental journalist way. Sad state of affairs isn't it that all this trash is out there (and this is but a molecule in the vast bucket of crud polluting global waters).

I thought this was a fun find! Tough to do in trying to isolate this figure a little more - that's the downside for me on this image, given the challenge - just a bit too much clutter / distraction in the background. Just one guys opinion.

Overall I liked this (gave it a 6).

The biggest distraction for me is it feels like I want to reach out and tilt everything back to the right to straighten it out. Contrast is a little light, but kind of adds to the overall feel of the image.

The subject matter was definitely blue and the berries are well focused, etc. - no complaints there. :-)

I'm surprised the "artsy" crowd wasn't all over this. No comments?! Hmmm. Well, for what it's worth, I had this picked near the top and was one of the 8's that were cast for this. The image is very pleasing to the eye without having a "subject" so to speak. Can definitely see this hanging on a wall. Well done!
