Take the high roadby DennisheckmanComment: Oh, I definitely gave it some consideration (regardless of what score I gave this). Hurts to hear the truth of what someone has to say about your entry? Not really getting the correlation between these misstatements in your photographer comments. ???
"My misjudgment led to a mediocre voting result. I normally tick the comments as helpful no matter what, but not this time."
I don't really care if my comments are marked helpful or not. I make them most of the time on a spur of the moment whim. I do like to go back after a challenge is over and see if my comments lined up with observations made by others. â€Â¦ and also to read the Photographers comments when available.
Best of luck to you. FWIW - I do like your image as a standalone; just not quite what I expected to see in this challenge. :-) |

Walk on a grey dayby hajekaComment: I like this, especially from the point of meeting the challenge of a Minimalistic subject. I'm on the fence about the pure grey of the image. It's very flat tonally. Good luck. |

Winter Sunby danielstarrasonComment: This is a fun take on the challenge. Not sure if we're being fooled with an optical illusion trick - if so, well done. If not I'm giving you (voting) the benefit of the doubt for an interesting capture. :-) |

The Abyssby rozComment: Tough to pull back and leave the subject small when you have such an interesting subject to present. IMO it's filling quite a bit of space for a Minimalism approach. ??? |

A simple bowl by NeatComment: I really like the way you lit this (I'm going to have to remember that one). Not sure if it's natural texture (thinking it may be a slight application of grain in post) or not, but I like the feel of it. Great tones overall. Well done. |
