Newhaven sunsetby marxiaComment: I think for Contre-Jour a bit more light is expected. Something bright that the photographer is shooting into. One small nit that I also noticed when originally voting on this was the horizon seems slightly tilted to the left. Otherwise, beautiful colors in the red & oranges. |

I See You!by MaryOComment: Oh?! Ha! That's very cool. I love how you got that one "eye" (is it really an eye) in focus. Awesome! |

Arc by pgirish007Comment: Originally posted by Lydia: Hmmm... Although I love this (and it will probably ribbon), it looks like a starburst filter was used on the camera. The rules say "Create a starburst (not simple lens flare) effect by controlling your exposure settings" and I think there was a discussion about whether a physical star filter would be accomplishing the challenge topic.
Anyway, as I said, it will probably ribbon, so don't worry! LOL I was just giving you a "heads up" in case you get a few very low votes.
I am not voting on it. |
Actually â€Â¦ there wasn't anything "written" in the rules that stated you couldn't accomplish a starburst with any method available to you. It was suggested, tongue in cheek, that using a filter would be against the "spirit of the challenge". |
