The Hoverby PangurbanComment: I might have gone with a 4x5 ratio instead of 4x6 on this. Nonetheless, it's a wonderful capture. I bet this would look great in a larger presentation! |

Spring Filly by photosbyMcDonComment: Lovely Filly, but the image is WAY too overprocessed IMO. The detail has been mostly washed out with noise reduction it seems. |

whenceby posthumousComment: Well seen and captured. This was one of my top picks (8 from me). The approach to the subject matter (growth) was spot on as was the choices made for comp and post work. |

Landscape with Ostrichesby ThingFishComment: Originally posted by Neat: Shame to waste this absolute beauty of an image, one it̢۪s not really a landscape and two it̢۪s not black-and-white, I can see tinges of red. |
Red? Where? I don't see it. I'm slightly color blind and red disappears sometimes; is this what happened to you also? |

Clouds_IMG_0557-59RGB-DPCby GeneralEComment: This is pretty cool and I find the effect interesting overall. The one thing I'm not crazy about is the coloration hitting the trees in the back edge. |

Woodworking - Built for my son, now waiting (patiently) for grandson.by glad2badadComment: Darn it. Meant to come back to address this comment made by GolferDDS and just lost track of time.
"... I wish you had taken the picture at a different angle and in total focus to show the entire subject that represents your talent."
While I do appreciate the comment and opinion I wanted to treat this challenge as a photo contest first, hobby item second. With this in mind I went with the eye and head in focus and the balance resolving to bokeh. Thought this was a bit more "artistic" than just doing a product shot. :-) |

Grackle Battleby jim29028Comment: 26th? Dang. This was my top pick for the challenge - gave it a 9. Loved the action and the B&W treatment covers the full spectrum well. |

Unfurledby k9logicComment: FWIW - This was my top pick for this challenge. Had no idea they actually made a lens for this effect. Makes sense I guess since I do own a couple of Lensbaby lens.
