This is pretty cool and I find the effect interesting overall. The one thing I'm not crazy about is the coloration hitting the trees in the back edge.

Darn it. Meant to come back to address this comment made by GolferDDS and just lost track of time.

While I do appreciate the comment and opinion I wanted to treat this challenge as a photo contest first, hobby item second. With this in mind I went with the eye and head in focus and the balance resolving to bokeh. Thought this was a bit more "artistic" than just doing a product shot. :-)

FWIW - This was my top pick for this challenge. Had no idea they actually made a lens for this effect. Makes sense I guess since I do own a couple of Lensbaby lens.
