I'm usually a fan of negative space and I get what you're trying to do here. Guess it works in the literal sense of "on the edge". There are other approaches to this challenge theme that I prefer a bit better. Sorry. Nothing personal. Good luck.

Interesting that some people thought this is a "Lens Ball". I'd forgotten about those and have not owned one.

The object in this photo is simply a glass marble. The "shooter" one that is about the size of a quarter (25 cent piece).
