Toy Soldierby FrostyPawsComment: I like the way you guys put this one together...if it's who I think it is. ;^) If not, I still like it. He-he. Probably going to take some heat on the first image (centered composition, etc...), but I like how it pulls you into what is going on. Great sense of fun and chaotic excitement being displayed here!
Good luck on the challenge. ;^) |

Camo-Frogby rox_roxComment: Ah-HA! So now I see where you are going for the next challenge! Just kidding. ;^)
I like this shot. The detail around the head and the feet is great. The way this is put together it's hard to determine if you're shooting down the tree or up the tree. Pretty cool. Well done!

Head in the Sandby ArtysteComment: Neat idea. I like how you mirrored one image to use on both ends. I think the composition is a bit tight...could have used a bit more negative space, especially at the top. Also looks like the spacing is off just a tad...the right divider is wider than the left.
Pretty cool to get your kid to do this and capture it with your camera. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Journey Is Over...Rest With Dignityby glad2badadComment: Well, this is a nice welcome surprise (the final numbers that is)! ;^) Some questions as to the composition and why the entire wagon isn't there - the wagon tongue has a post holding it up that I found unattractive and distracting...so I composed without it. From the angle of view I needed to keep it in the image and hoped it would act as a leading line? This POV also allowed me to include the sky which added some nice color with the sloping tree line.
Anyway, for those that liked it - thanks. And for ALL that commented thanks to you as well. |

Salt Lick Creekby rioloboComment: This has a nice feel to it. Where were you during the 'Reflections without Mirrors' challenge? ;^)
Including the rocks in the right foreground was a good idea - adds balance and perspective to this shot. Very nice.

White on Whiteby samanwarComment: Personally, I like it. Great sense of motion yet the gulls head and feet are well focused. I'd certainly be proud of it and wouldn't have hesitated one second to enter it. Job well done!
Not sure how the voters would have reacted overall because technically you're overexposed. |

100_7672whit4.jpgby RiponladyComment: I like this simple, yet very pleasing, image. Very good use of leading lines. It's nice how the pier/dock has a curve to it - really makes this work well. Good choice on angle of view and getting some distance from the fisherman. Well thought out. Congrats on a nice capture!

Cast Awayby L1Comment: I like your choice of positioning the subject in your composition. DOF works well for me also. Good leading line with the road taking the viewer out/thru the image.
Overall, very nice. 8. Good luck in the challenge! ;^) |

Gardensby aussieComment: Looks like someone is practicing for the Triptych challenge. ;^)
All kidding aside - this is a very nice piece you've put together. Warm colors, well exposed. The reflections on the water bring additional interest...
One thing, if I may, is the 2nd and 3rd images are very similar and takes just a bit away from the overall impact. If you must use those two, perhaps split them? Just a thought. Again, very nice!
