I like what you've done with this overall. I'm wondering if the ripples aren't disturbing the "silence and serenity" a little? I agree without them the image might be too quiet...hmmm. Must have been tough to decide. ;^) Best of luck in the challenge.

Subtle, peaceful. I like the way the edge of the hill/cliff fades out to the left. You can get just a hint of what lies beyond in the vast space.

I like the feel of this image overall. Very still and serene. The one negative I have is the sky in the background. How would this look cropping the top down into the distant treeline? Just a thought.
