Mangia!by Jaded_HousewifeComment: This is a creative and interesting concept. It appears you've stopped the motion of most water droplets and some pasta, however there are some motion trails and/or blurriness of the pasta inside the strainer. Not trying to be nit picky, just pointing out what the viewer/voter might see but NOT tell you. ;^) The exposure is good. Not sure about the additional items in the vicinity...thinking they may hurt more than help as they do draw the eye away from the main subject. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

Refresh!by flip89Comment: Has an abstract feel to it. Kind of cool. The color tone works well to convey refreshing water. Is this a shower head? Good luck. Hope it does well for you. |

Emergenceby EricMGB1974Comment: Very crisp and clear. The water almost makes this look like a ton of neat image was applied. The water splash has certainly been stopped. Good job overall. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Put Em Up!by BugzeyeComment: That's a very cute photo of a cat. ;^) Good color, clarity and composition overall. Hard to tell on the stopped motion because this is such an unusual stance/action for a cat to take...does a cat on it's back legs usually move very fast, or was this an easy image to get? Do you know what I'm trying to say? The top images for this challenge will probably have some action that is easily identifiable as being fast/quick. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

Gull Aloftby AgaricusComment: This has some nice contrast to it. The white on the seagull may be a little hot, but not bad. I like this, having the boats in the background, adds some context to this image - many times all you see is the seagull and nothing else in many images. Looking kind of hazy in the background - have you tried using a UV filter? Would help with that. Good luck in the challenge. |

9mmby thegrandwazooComment: Took a minute to figure this out. I know, I didn't look at the title. Interesting the way the broken glass has moved. Fun to look at. Must be nice to have the equipment to do this. ;^) Good luck in the challenge. |

Strawberry and Heavy Cremeby idnicComment: Nooooo! Not another 'splash' shot! ;^) Well, ok. Since you did it so nicely I guess I can let it slide. He-he. Let's see, you have a well focused strawberry, ROT composition, mostly 'frozen' milk splash, with good exposure. Should do just fine with this one. |

Garden Thiefby DianaComment: Uh-oh. Fun to look at but you're going to get some big hits on meeting the challenge by stopping the motion and no motion blur trails, etc... I like the placement of the deer in the frame, that's good standard composition for a moving subject to leave space in front. Exposure is good. Good luck in the challenge. |

Hawk Attackby MarjoComment: Hey. Pretty good capture. I like the color tone used to minimize the sky blowout. The diagonal that the hawk is coming in at adds some nice drama to the photo. This should do pretty well for you. Did I already say nice catch?! ;^) Good luck. |
