Great shot. Ordinary item made extraordinary with this interesting angle. The lost detail in the wood around the spring is sad. I would have loved to see this in color which would have allowed those details to be more easily seen. I love B&W, but sometimes, color is important, and this might be one of those times. Still a great image. <8>

Nice job. Glad this was one of my outtakes. I hand an image almost exactly like this, and desided against it, cus I thought my other idea was better. Not sure if it is, but at least there were not duplicate images. This is very nicely done. Great detail in the threads, the seam, and even the shadows inside the holes. The vibrant red jumps off the page with the white and black backgrounds (My background was green). Good luck. <8>
