Affidavitby CyndaneComment: I signed in blood and everything, and then I tried uploading my son. As hard as I pushed, his head wont fit into the computer case. Sorry. |

Great Blue Heronby MacDonaldComment: That must've been great watching him eat this thing whole. I would guess that he must have had a hard time getting airborne after eating this huge fish? Great capture! |

wide-open-spaces-sfw.jpgby madison461Comment: Nice composition here with attention to thirds and framing, lovely warm red and yellow tones in the grasses below. Try using a smaller aperture to bring the tree more in focus, using a tripod if needed for the longer shutter speed. It's not quite soft enough for creative depth of field, yet not sharp enough to be fluid if that makes any sense. Also, I would prefer to see more of the grasses and the base of the tree instead of being cut off at the bottom of the photo. Just a little more downward camera angle would do the trick. -Just my little nit-picks in a really nice photo. Keep it up! |

Captivatedby scalvertComment: Beautiful shot Shannon, my personal fav of the challenge. I was off a little bit on placement in my previous comment, but still, top 15 in a HUGE challenge is awesome. Good job! |

Grinby dahkotaComment: Wow! Incredible photo, I love this! The subtle lighting is superb to bring out the detail where it should be, but leave some mysteriousness to the gorilla. The eyes are stunning, and the grin gives a delicate side to this guy (or girl). An incredible capture all around. |

Twistedby hannekeComment: This is really frightening, and I don't know quite what to make of it but I LOVE IT! Great job here! This would make a great cd cover for an alternative/punk band. |
