Looks very pretty but the horizon is a bit off, i feel seasick :) It's a good composition though, the curves of the rive/fence + the bridge. If I were taking this photo, i'd move closer and try to get some of the city into the photo, but that's just me. 7 paganini

Nice. I wish I could see the rock more... maybe using it as a foreground. 8 paganini

Thanks for the comments.

A bit about the tilt: it's due to the lens wideangle. Either both of the statue and the building will be curved and pointing at each other, or i can set one or the other to be straight. Now if i have a PC lens, then that's one thing :-)

I think you should have focused on your daughter than the PC or the shade behind her. i like the lighting though. 7 paganini

Is that tree on the left really necessary to be in this composition? I find the building interesting, especially the one with the two openings. I also think that a vertical compositio nworks better -- move 3-4 steps to the right, making the building a bit symmetrical, go vertical on your camera, move a bit closer so that the seats, table, shade be a main interesting and let the contrast between the white umbrella and the nice texture of the building do the talking. The tree and the open space on the left is just too distracting, for me. 6 paganini

I think i know what you're trying to do here, and it's a difficult task to do. One of the things that would make it easier is to concentrate on small part of the tree top to get the patterns out. Otherwise, the image is cluttered with branches, etc and just not very interesting. Of course, limited to zoom lens.... paganini

beautiful. I wish that you could somehow use the fence to lead directly INTO the mountain instead of stopping abruptly in the middle. I love Boulder every time I drive to the RMNP. 9 paganini

man, nice reflections. I would've concentrated on that -- the tree branch on the right is a bit distracting to a blaance image (symmetrical). 8 paganini
