the migration of lovebirdsby yankoComment: Congrats on this fine capture. Great work here!
Made my top10. I didn't guess it to be yours. The concept is wonderfully executed. The way you composed the shot, the part of the painting with the birds section floating above the woman's head , it just says it all. I agree with Judy about about the bucket. Seems kind of invasive. Maybe if it was a smaller one or just out of the shot? All in all it's a minor nitpick. |

Coastal Calmby FirstyComment: I've faved only two landscape shots and this is one of them. This shot is highly appealing to me. Love the straight horizon , how it seperates the sky from the shore. Very zen. This long exposure is excellent. Something I'm striving to capture myself. Hoping to be as lucky to find a location such as this and you certainly also have the skill to have captured it this well. |

Moonrise, Painted Hills, Oregonby DrAchooComment: A classic! Very Ansel Adams-esque. A very easy 9 from me. Only nitpick is the three brances looks oversharpened on my monitor. The rest of the shot is sharp and soft at the same time. A shot I'm jealous of ;) Great job! This would make one great print. |

Feast for ONE by hotpastaComment: Didn't vote. Knew this was yours :)
This one really stood out from the croud. Big congrats. Really glad one of your food pics finally did it. Let this blue ribbon also take it for the rest of them that where just as good but underappreciated.
aliqui, said it well. Love those pancakes. My favorite shot as well. Message edited by author 2008-12-06 10:45:52. |

benchmarksby posthumousComment: I quite like this. The shapes and composition works really well. Nice to see a different take on the ole bench. Being much of a macro closeup shooter, this one takes after my own heart. |
