There is no way you could have taken a colour shot of something B/W if this is your submission... I do think the rules specifically said no desaturation or B/W shooting. When things are sillhoutted, at times they lose detail and thus color ;)

Even though there isn't one main focal point. It's a nicely composed image. There's a balance. Could use a tad more brightness/contrast though.

Great shot and the accompanying behing the scenes story. You're a trooper and your efforts were very highly rewarded. Interesting how experiences like this just make us push through even further next time when we need to get that great shot. Safety first though :)
