The Lonely Ballerinaby DjabordjaborComment: Easily one of my favorite portraits from the challenge. The tones here are excellent. The ballerina does look a little sad but charming. One nitpick is the dark square near the bottom right, could be easily cloned out but not certain if it would be removal of a major element, sorta doubt it but better safe I guess. I should know hehe. Another is this shot has a sephia tint, not purely b/w. I hope you dont get voted down because it looks great in b/w but if I had to choose I'd choose this slightly toned one. |

Kelly-Chaela-Rose.jpgby BakerBugComment: A very cute capture :)
I agree with Deb about cropping the top off. Just above the fence line. You can also clone out or crop out the little green branch near the bottom right corner. In any case, I'm sure this photo will melt Dad's heart.

In your handsby Gaby_GComment: One of my favorites! One of the most creative self portraits. Glad it was appreciated by the rest of the folks here. I was thinking this was one shot graphicfunk would totally love! and I see he did, I did too. So very well executed. |

Day 5... Is this love?by Gaby_GComment: Great idea! awesome work with the effect in the eye. The PP there looks so great it looks almost natural. Nitpicks are the much overexposed areas of the face, like the cheekbone and the focus. Not to take anything away from this wonderful piece but if you ever want to choose a shot to reshoot for perfection I'd love to see this one :)
Hope you're feeling better these days *hugs* Message edited by author 2006-11-13 10:33:02. |

Enchanted Forestby AlexSaberiComment: This is one magical scene. Looks like you picked the perfect time of day to go out shooting. Only thing is I would like to see this one in color. Perhaps it wouldn't have been better but I'm sure curious. Still, congratulations on this fine capture. |

Masonby Elvis_LComment: Good try at an infra-red shot. But I must say it's much too purple for my eyes. Turning down the saturation somewhat would help. |

Time in a Bottleby SammieComment: Great job with the lighting here. Would make it even more perfect if the reflections of the room where not seen here, since doesn't seem to pertain to the theme here. Either you can work in a completely dark room with the just that one light or use black cloth or foamcore and surround the table by that and just have the camera and light peaking through. |
