Quit Smokin' by h2Comment: Congratulations Oliver :)
"What did this match do right after the shot?" Well nothing I guess. It's already put out, so it went into the trash. But what was it used for before it was put out? Just thought a put out looking cig. would've been more in touch with the title as I also dont associate matches with smoking either. I dont smoke but everyone around me who does, doesn't use matches. But I hear using matches to light cigars is best. In general as an overall shot I would pick the match over a cig. Message edited by author 2007-01-15 09:32:18. |

"E" is for Exerciseby bassboneComment: Good humor and great shot. Excellent job with the composition. the perspective is way neat. The use of selective saturation is put to very good use here as well. Good luck with this one :) |

Everything here is spot on. I like this shot most for it's uniqueness. |

Quit Smokin' by h2Comment: Excellent capture. The shape of the smoke fills in the space quite nicely. But for the title and concept I think a cigarette or cigar would've worked better. |

City Reflectionsby zaflaboutComment: Great shot with nice clarity , contrast and composition. Only thing I find distracting is the unevenly burnt sky. |

Baby Bluesby TerryGeeComment: Super de duper cute! :) Excellent lighting and composition. I like everything about the shot except that the baby's right eye isn't as in focus as the left and the odd yellow hue on portions on the face (I hope the baby is healthy and that's just a food stain or something left over from PP). With that fixed this would be an easy 10 from me. |

O u t c a s tby GiorgioComment: One of my faves from the challenge. You did a really good job trying to seperate the front tree and its branches from the rest of the backgroudn. |

The Escapeeby WildcardComment: A very cool find! I like the perspective. The shot has very nice color and contrast. The only nitpick is I see a hint of the post there as if you where trying to remove it? Would leave it there for realism but on the other hand, let the imagination go wild ;) I guess some folks didnt look close enough and didn't see the post and asked this shot be validated. I'm glad you passed :) |
