Winter Bird Tapestryby kanajComment: A nice bold try at trying something different. It does keep my interest for the reason I try to look harder, so that's good. Title a side, with the challenge theme in mind I do get it's a cardinal but otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it , I think. |

Prideby yankoComment: Most excellent composition, with the perfect crop and OOF background with that one dear to the right. I like the toning and darkened corners here too. The detail is a little short but the expression captured and the shot as a whole just rocks! 8)

Mr Bluebirdby scalvertComment: A beautiful shot. The Bokeh is excellent! so is the composition, as usual ;) I really like the color but think the blue is just a tad oversaturated for a bluebird. Other than that, it's perfect. |

Blueby SimmsComment: Yes, this should do very well :) I like the whole pastel color theme going on. The composition is minimal, the negative space works really well. Minimalism at it's best. |

Tangerine Dreamby De SousaComment: This is a very fine shot, the lighting, composition and colors are very pleasing. But for this challenge the composition isn't optimal. The plate is centered as is the group of tangerines but the focal point leads us astray. If the cut in half tangerine was in the middle of the shot then I would think this would've scored better for this particular challenge. But out of challenge this shot works really well. |

Eastern Mysteryby AlexSaberiComment: This is such a magical and classical shot. One of my favorite portraits of recent. The lady has the ole classical charm of an actress in the golden days of Hollywood and so does your capture of her.

The Photographer's Eyeby TechnoShroomComment: Simple and clean. Nice shot. I like the humor best of all though. The red lines in the eyes, more related to the editing part of the job, sitting by the computer ;) |

Peppers in loveby Gaby_GComment: This is such a neat and creative shot! :) I see what you had in mind here. The white balance looks just a bit off though. A seperate light for the background could've helped it be more white and less gradient but that depends , because the gradient here does work well too, kind of like a sunset of sorts. For the challenge though, having the whites really white without the hue would've been perfect. |

Squirrellyby JimyThingComment: The composition is good but not to keen on the flash reflection in it's eye. Not an easy shot to focus on with the branches in the way, it is just a bit off. Good try, keep shooting :) |
