Look into my eyesby buckwheatComment: Returning for comment. Good composition. Lighting doesn't flatter the skin tones, although it does bring out the drama in the eyes. Find myself wishing the eyes were level or at least looking directly at the lens. Overall, a decent shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

Vertical Horizonby SURBANNAComment: Returning for comment. Good composition and pose; however lighting isn't working as well as seen in some of the other submissions. So much detail of the main subject is lost that the overall impact of the image suffers. Overall, a decent shot that with some minor image editing could be great. |

Camera Shyby om10Comment: Returning for comment. The light in the lower right corner overpowers the rest of the image and isn't as visually appealing as you might have intended. Perhaps cropping out the light and brightening up the remainder would have helped. Good pose. |

grahampby grahampComment: Returning for comment. Good capture of facial expression, lighting produces warm skin tones. Unfortunately, the image suffers from what I can only describe as "floating head syndrome." A bit more light thrown on the shoulders would have helped with that. Focal point appears to be dead center, although the positioning of the eyes in the top third is good. Overall, a good shot which leaves the viewer wondering what the subject is contemplating. |

The Ghostby FyzarlComment: Returning for comment. A good idea. With regard to composition, you might consider cropping out more of the space above the head, so that it appears in the top third of the frame rather than dead center. Overall, stronger than many of the other submissions. |

Eachtraby RasaiComment: Returning for comment. Great capture of facial expression. Focus is a little soft, and this has a snapshot feel to it. Overall, the shot communicates happiness well. |

Which I for me today ?by thewandererComment: Returning for comment. You got a good idea here. This shot is not in as sharp focus as it could be. The white balance appears to be a little off as well. With regard to composition, there doesn't appear to be a main focal point - my eye kind of keeps wandering around for a place to land. Overall, this was a decent attempt at something creative. |
