i like the composition here and the sharpness. this looks like hdr (i know you said it's not) but the dodge and burning looks a bit overdone. My personal taste is that if i can tell it's been done then it's overdone. especially noticeable are the trees behind the building. overall though i think this is a very nice dramatic image.

just checking dpc and i noticed you posting this. just wanted to say that i think you are one of the most creative photographers here. you remind me of joeyl when he was starting out here. this shot is very cool. i like how you are always trying different things. stanging still for 2 minutes. nice job.

very nice shot. i'm trying to place this location. there's a great spot along pch near the navy base, i think it's Mugu or something. there's a large mount of rock between the highway and the ocean. your shot looks like it was taken there down in the little cove.

honestly the first thing that caught my eye was the out-of-focus arm. it might work better if it were in focus or more out of focus. it looks like neither. i like the perspective of the shot but i think the kite would look better a little closer.
