DNA fingerprinting made finger prints low tech,by NRRonComment: Too much explanation in the title, but I understand you have to get people to get it. Maybe it just sounds too redundant. I think simply "DNA replaces fingerprints" = maybe not technically accurate, but people would get it.
Regarding the pic - this concept should been played out in a crime scene type of staging. This lookes like a giant fingerprint patterned shower curtain. |

Eunice's Pumpby FrostyPawsComment: A point or two off cuz it's leaning over - I would guess you couldn't do anything about that although the pump does not look like it is secured there. Could've been a top pick for me but for that. |

Spanky Giving Buckwheat's Wagon a Tune-Up by cpurserComment: More llike loosening the axle on Alfalfa's wagon so he can have Darla all to himself! ;-) Very nice pic. I like the selective desat, the cropping, the subject. One minor flaw might be the bill of the ball cap makes a white line that follows the line of the boy's neck and makes the boy's image look comp'd in. A better title would help the Challenge subject also - i.e. "Life before Game Boy" or something like that. ;-) Definitely a top pick for me though! |

Word Processorby kerrywcComment: Third typewriter I've seen & almost the best, but the lighting could be just a little softer and seems like it would be better on a solid colored surface - the wood color just overpowers the photo. Also would like to see paper in it and, if done properly, typing hands could help. Good job overall though! |

Just a man and his guitarby SharQComment: Oh yeah - "Electric" Guitars have been obsolete since the appearance of the new plasma driven, stringless guitars with embedded nanotechnology. :-) Nice pic, but hardly low tech. Sorry. |

Without Me You Will Starveby A VaryaComment: Not as long as I have these! [pulls out a hammer and a screwdriver] ;-)
Should've used different lighting to get rid of harsh shadows. Decent entry though. |

Halfway done shoveling the snowby GautiComment: Ok - picture this: At this moment, a snow plow has just passed through the frame and dumped 3 ft of dirty snow on this poor guy! Huh? Huh? Well ok, but that would've nabbed you a 9 instead of a 7. ;-) |
