First time I scored this, I noticed the wheel on the mouse matched the fingernails. This time I looked at the thumbnail and it took on a whole new image. LOL - I assume this is what you were going for. I have an idea who this is, but won't say for fear of being wrong and getting into some hot water. ;-)

I guess if you are referring to the fact that the mainstream media only reports the negative things that are going on, it is an illusion. As far as the challenge relevance - I don't see it. "Set up an illusion to trick your viewers"
If the topic was "Political Rantings" then I would critique the photo more in depth. :)

...returning to add comments about the photo itself: Overall composition is a bit chaotic and the focus sems to be off a touch and the background curtains could be darker. All my opinion of course - take it for what its worth and hope you had fun with it. :)

Only thing I might change is putting the faces closer together and arrange like they are hanging on the wall. Also exagerate the expressions more (comedy / tragedy). Nice idea and pretty well done though.
